Academic Writing Workshop for Dentistry Students
TIU’s Dentistry Faculty on 23 January organized a workshop for senior students to prepare them for academic research writing.
The workshop focused on academic writing with the goal of helping the students to conduct and write researches as part of their graduation projects.
It was presented by Dr. Ranj Nadhim Jalal, a teaching staff member of Oran and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, and Mr. Saad Mahialldin Mahmoud, a teaching staff member at the College of Languages, Salahaddin University.
Fifty students and research assistants from Dentistry Faculty took part in the workshop which was divided between to different sessions:
- A brief introduction to scientific writing.
- Hands-on training on Paraphrasing, Sentence and Paragraph Writing.
